CLEANSERS: Cleansers by TypeUpdated 2 days ago

When looking for a cleanser that is right for your skin, there are a few things to consider.

1. What is your Skin Type?

Dry Skin:

  • Minimally visible pores
  • Feels tight and dry shortly after washing

Normal/Combination Skin:

  • Visible pores, mainly in the T-zone
  • May not need moisturizer immediately, but can feel dry after an hour or two

Oily Skin:

  • Noticeable pores from the T-zone extending to the cheeks
  • Rarely feels dry after washing; may become shiny/greasy by noon if not well-hydrated

2. What type of cleanser do you prefer?

At AOS, we LOVE cleansers. They are the sensual delight of our skincare ritual. In this document, we have broken cleansers down by type. You may find that you like to use multiple types of cleansers depending on the time of day. We recommend trying several and discovering your cleanser pleasure!

OIL CLEANSERS

Oil cleansers are excellent for removing oily makeup and pollutants from the skin. Be sure that you choose an oil cleanser that emulsifies! This type of oil will act as a magnet to pull debris from your pores and help prevent blackhead buildup. (Tip: All AOS oil cleansers emulsify in water!)
